Handblock Printed Tablecloth in Blue and Green with Mughal Floral Pattern

We are very happy to introduce our new collection of hand-block print tablecloths. These tablecloths are a true reflection of traditional Indian printing techniques. It is an ancient art form that has been practiced in India for centuries. Jaipur, the capital city of the Indian state of Rajasthan, is renowned for its skilled artisans who use this traditional technique to create beautiful textiles.

Our tablecloths are made using high-quality cotton or linen fabrics, which are then adorned with intricate designs inspired by the Mughal era.

The floral motifs used in these designs are reminiscent of the beautiful gardens and floral patterns that the Mughal emperors favored. The artisans use wooden blocks that are carefully carved with these motifs and then dipped in natural dyes to transfer the design onto the fabric.

The process of making a hand-block printed tablecloth is a labor-intensive one, requiring great skill and patience. Each block has to be perfectly aligned with the previous one to create a seamless pattern, and the process of dyeing and drying the fabric can take several days.
